A funny thing

Writing’s such a funny thing,

Never the same tune to sing.

Sometimes it’s such a slog,

Trapped in writer’s fog.

Others words posses your mind,

They’re no struggle to find.

Sometimes your income’s robust,

You more than earn your crust.

Others you’re so completely broke,

The whole thing becomes a joke.

I wouldn’t change though if I could,
